OPSA Match Fees
The December 2004 Executive Committee meeting discussed the lack of help with teardown at the different Club matches. To encourage shooters to stick around and help out so the burden of the work doesn't fall on the same individuals every time, the Match Fees have been revamped to include a refundable $5. The participants that help put away the stages after the match will be given the $5 back after all the stages are torn down and put back in the equipment cage. For those shooting the USPSA match with one gun, a $2.50 fee will be added. The match fees themselves have not changed except for this and it does not apply to NRA Highpower Matches (you are still encouraged to lend a hand). The new schedule will apply starting with the Jan 2005 matches. The $3 credit policy for those that help with setup will still be in effect.

OPSA has received quite a few inquiries about starting a Woman's Shooting League. If interested, please contact Carol . This would be a ladies only match with the match structure to be determined at a later date after input from the participants.
To introduce shooters (and newcomers) to a discipline (IPSC, cowboy or action) they haven’t tried before, Marvin is volunteering to hold clinics on the 2nd Saturdays of the month. So, get with Marvin if you or a friend are interested.
